Yves Ouellette is based in Taxand Canada where he is a partner of Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP and practices taxation law, with a specialty in tax and commercial litigation. He also practices fiscal law and charters of rights and freedoms, administrative law, civil law, penal law, criminal law, bankruptcy law, and corporate law. Yves has been a member of the Barreau du Québec and the Canadian Bar Association since 1975; he was also director of the Law Department of Revenue Québec for 19 years. He has been a member of the firm LAFLEUR BROWN (now Canada's Taxand practice, Gowling Lafleur Henderson) since 1993. Yves is often a guest speaker at universities, judicial councils, and various associations. He graduated from Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf (D.E.C. 1973) and the University of Montréal, LLL (1973).
