Brent Kerr

Brent Kerr is based in Taxand Canada where he is a partner of Gowling Lafleur Henderson. Working out of the Vancouver office, Brent is the leader of Gowling's National Tax Practice Group. His practice is focused on tax planning, with an emphasis on international transactions. In 1993, Brent was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales. Apart from the three years he was based in Hong Kong (1990–1993), Brent has practiced law in Vancouver since 1980. Brent has given live and web-based presentations on a variety of topics including tax issues that arise from executive migration, tax implications of corporate reorganisations, and cross-border licensing transactions.
