Geert is the key Belgian member of Taxand’s global transaction tax team. He is based in Taxand Belgium where he is a partner of AB Taxand BVBA which he co-founded. Geert’s focus is on the restructuring of companies, from corporate tax and corporate law perspectives. He also specialises in the structuring of real estate transactions. Geert holds a law degree from the University of Leuven and a Master’s degree in financial management from Brussels Business School (summa cum laude). Geert has written various books and publications on his areas of specialty.
