Herta Vanas is based in Austria where she is a partner with Taxand Austria and is a certified tax advisor. Her professional focus has always been tax advice. Herta has 17 years of experience in national and international tax law, mergers and acquisitions, group structuring and transfer pricing. Herta also has experience advising multinational groups investing in Austria as well as Austrian companies investing abroad. Before setting up Austria’s Taxand partner, Taxand Austria, she worked as a tax advisor for Deloitte. She also lectures on direct investment strategies for Central and Eastern Europe at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.
