Bernhard Vanas is based in Austria where he is partner with Taxand Austria. As a certified tax advisor and certified auditor he counts over 35 years of experience in national and international tax law, international transactions, restructuring and due diligence reviews. Before joining Taxand Austria Bernhard was head of the tax department and later Country Managing Partner of Arthur Andersen Austria. As of 2002 he was Country Managing Partner of Deloitte Austria. Moreover, Bernhard was co-editor of “ecolex” and publishes numerous publications in various professional journals. He is also lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Vienna and speaker at various domestic and international seminars on tax and accounting law.
