Liban Kusa is based in Taxand Argentina where he is a partner with Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi (BFM&L).

Liban specialises in Tax and Customs matters, mainly in cases which are contested. He defends clients, co-leading with Mr. Jorge Damarco, (former member of the Federal Court of Appeals), against claims filed by Tax Authorities (at national and provincial levels). He also advises in municipal tax matters.

Prior to joining Argentina’s Taxand practice, Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi, in 2004, Liban was with Gutman law firm, acting as a defense attorney for taxpayers facing litigation in national, provincial and municipal issues. He also provided tax-related legal services. Before that he was with Negri & Teijeiro law firm, where he began his career.

Liban teaches Law at the University of Buenos Aires and is an active member of the Argentine Fiscal Association, in particular through his editorship of its tax magazine. He is also a member of the fiscal committee of the Argentine Chambers of Commerce. Liban regularly participates in conferences as lecturer and is co-author of a number of publications concerning contentious tax matters. Since 2005, he has been repeatedly awarded by different local and international trade magazines as one of the country's most distinguished tax lawyers. Liban received a law degree from the Law School of the University of Buenos Aires in 1997.
