Sanjiv Malhotra

Sanjiv Malhotra is based in Taxand India, which is BMR Advisors. He specialises in international tax and transfer pricing matters and has been advising several fortune 500 multinationals on a range of tax structuring, transfer pricing and international dispute resolution matters.

He has worked on a number of global / regional assignments and has represented many MNCs during their transfer pricing audits and litigation. Sanjiv’s core competencies lie in transfer pricing planning and implementation of tax-efficient supply chain structures. He has also worked on a number of Competent Authority negotiations.

Sanjiv was amongst the founding members of BMR’s transfer pricing practice and is a part of the core transfer pricing team.  Prior to joining BMR, Sanjiv was working with a Big 4 consulting team in its global transfer pricing practice.

Sanjiv regularly participates in national and international discussions on policy aspects of transfer pricing such as OECD’s Working Party 6 meeting on “transfer pricing aspects of intangibles”.He also has a number of publications to his name, including those published by Bureau of National Affairs, USA, International Taxation, International Fiscal Association and Euromoney.  Sanjiv also regularly speaks in national and international seminars in relation to transfer pricing and international tax matters.

Sanjiv has a Bachelors degree in Commerce and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.  He has also earned a Master’s degree in Business Economics.
