Gokul Chaudhri

Gokul Chaudhri is based in Taxand India where he is a partner at BMR Advisors, and leader of the firm's tax practice. specialising in tax and financial advisory. His career span of over 25 years commenced with a Big 5 consulting firm.

Gokul’s experience includes significant engagements for domestic and international clients, including multi-billion dollar cross border transactions, privatization initiatives and project tax advisory for large infrastructure assets. In addition, he has extensive experience in structuring and presenting (possibly over 400 in number) in-bound foreign investment proposals to the Government of India. 

Over the past decade, Gokul has been an active speaker at domestic and international seminars. He has also authored and presented papers at workshops and conferences on the topic of fiscal policy reforms. He has been a participant and speaker at the investment road shows held in Europe by the Government of India and the European Commission in Brussels on the reform process in India. He is currently a member of the executive council of International Fiscal Association - India. He also served as a member of the finance sub group for road map for Clean Development Mechanism.

Gokul qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994. Gokul studied at Daly College, Indore, and Sydenham College in Bombay.

Now based in Gurgaon, Gokul enjoys reading and vacation travelling.
