Taxand Mexico is Mijares, Angoitia, Cortés y Fuentes. Established in 1994, we have a strong team of skilled and experienced people with wide-ranging national and international experience. We have a total staff of 163, including 13 partners, one of counsel, 87 professionals and 62 administrative personnel. Our tax team comprises two tax partners, one head of tax practice, five associates and six tax clerks. With in-depth experience at international law firms, as well as in the public sector, industrial companies, service companies and the financial industry, our people are renowned for their expertise, top quality service and ability to add value at all levels. We work with a variety of clients in a wide range of industry sectors, including telecommunications; energy, insurance and real estate. We also provide national clients with particular expertise in domestic corporate tax, antitrust services, financing structures and intellectual property. We maintain close relationships with government authorities and entities that regulate, oversee or otherwise influence the activities of our clients. We also regularly participate in committees and working groups engaged in drafting laws, regulations and other legal statutes, and have advised government entities on matters within our areas of expertise.
