Taxand Training

Our global programme is called simply, Taxand Training. Our objective is simple too. Taxand Training is about networking. It’s designed to encourage teamwork across borders. It’s an investment in the development of our global tax teams.

Taxand Training comprises Taxand Schools across our regions, service lines and levels of experience. Each School is tailored for its pupils but has many things in common. All Taxand Schools:

  • are run by Taxander partners - we know our business best and lead from the front
  • are focused on fun - we see the value in networking above all else
  • offer a blend of learning - we mix soft skills, cross-border technical tax training, living our brand and more.

Taxand Training is complimented by local technical tax training programmes to boost competancies and keep Taxanders up to date. A flavour of some of our Schools is provided here.

Taxand Next Generation School
Paris, May 2011
The 2011 Next Generation School coincided with the Taxand Global Conference in Paris and attracted pupils from countries across Europe, Americas and Asia. Designed to provide our budding partners with the opportunity to network with each other to aid future new business development across Taxand, this event was purely focused on soft skills. The Trainers were independent advisors to Taxand, ex Arthur Andersen senior tax partners Harry Ruffalo, Andre Fogarasi and David Murby who were instrumental in the growth and success of the firm’s tax business during its heyday.

Highly interactive cross-border case studies formed the crux of the School with the evening spent sipping cocktails at the InterContinental Paris Le-Grand followed by dinner actually in the Eiffel Tower. Many pupils then stayed in Paris to join our client-focussed Taxand Global Conference.
