During the Taxand Expo at the Taxand Global Conference 2011 in Paris the Taxand Netherlands team embarked on a gruelling indoor cycling tour up a virtual Mont Vetoux that covered 22.7km. The aim was to raise money for the victims of the earthquake in Japan. Thanks to the generosity of Taxanders worldwide an impressive 10,000 Euros was raised which was presented by Frederic Donnedieu, Taxand Chairman to Eiki Kawakami of Taxand Japan. On accepting the cheque he said: “Words cannot express just how grateful I am, on behalf of the people of Japan, I would like to thank you for this charitable gesture”.
