Taxand has one independent firm per country. Firms are by invitation only and voted in by the Taxand Global Executive Committee. Potential Taxanders are obliged to:

1. focus on delivering tax advisory services
2. be independent i.e. not undertake audit or attest work
3. be able to provide the tax expertise required to deliver Taxand’s global services
4. demonstrate the capability to deliver to Taxand’s highest quality standards
5. be committed to sharing knowledge across Taxand
6. be prepared to get actively involved in Taxand's cooperative initiatives to develop client relationships
7. be committed to growth and development locally to ensure Taxand expansion over time
8. share the common Taxand passion and values
